Chesa Montana is located in Krallerwinkl in Maria Alm, directly opposite the Sommerstein swimming pool and close to the ski lifts of the Hochkönig ski area. In good snow conditions, it is even possible to ski back to the accommodation. The Hochkönig ski area connects Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach and forms part of the extensive Ski amadé network. For even more variety, the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and the Schmittenhöhe ski area in Zell am See are also within easy reach.
